I am 65 and determined to lose at least a stone before Christmas. I plan to do this by calorie counting and exercising regularly, and cutting out bad habits like snacking. It will take discipline (something I have been lacking), but I fell strongly motivated at the moment. I just need to keep it up! Wish me luck

Welcome!!! I hope you'll enjoy being part of the Weight Loss NhS forum - I'd recommend having a read of our Welcome Newbie post - it's in the Pinned posts area, which are on the right-hand-side of the forum (or at the bottom of your screen if you're accessing via a mobile device). The NHS 12 week plan is good, and worth a look too. I know you've planning to calorie count and exercise regularly, which is along with the principles of the NHS 12 week plan. Using an app will help a lot with the calorie counting side of things, so something to consider too.

Just weigh yourself at home, then write your answer at the end of the 'weigh-in' thread 😊 This is usually pretty high up on the news feed on Mondays, 😊 If you 'follow' lowcal and moreless you will get an email every time they write a post so will Also get a link that way 😊
Ps the weigh in is open until Friday so don't worry if you miss it, 😊
