Just joined at the weekend and been perusing the site and finding my way round. I have 2 1/2 stone to lose. Just checked my BMI, revisited the reason why I started my weight loss journey in the first place. Having a history of diabetes in our family, this has been the inspiration for previous weight loss attempts and successes. Some how over the last few years the eye has been off the ball. Son now started university, A level stress done with. Time to refocus and concentrate on my health. So with this in mind, I started on Tuesday which will be my weigh in day. Feeling positive and looking forward to this reawakened journey.

Hello angelcakes007 😊
Welcome to the Weight Loss NHS forum. It’s great that you’ve joined. 😊 Starting is the most difficult so well done!
Take a look at the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using a mobile) and have a look at the Welcome Newbies thread.
Look at the Topics section beneath that, for posts that could answer any questions you may have. Consider joining any, or all, of our challenges, as they're fun and motivating. There is a winter Solstice one running currently 😊
Join us for the Monday Group weigh-in. If you follow Lowcal and Moreless (our very approachable site Admins), you'll be notified when they post the threads. The latest weigh-in thread can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page.
Be active on the forum, as that's where we exchange ideas and get our daily dose of motivation and inspiration. 😊 Especially useful to avoid nibbling!!
Enjoy the forum, and wishing you success with your goals.
Good luck! 😊
