Hi
I've just started the 12 week plan today. Have 5-6 stone to shift and am on 1800 calories. I can't eat dairy or shellfish (allergies) but love cooking.
Looking forward to chatting and interacting with this support network xx

Hi SportyGirl75
Welcome to the forum, I too had 6 stone to lose when I first joined (just over 2 months ago) and I have nearly lost 2 stone so far! You can do it and as you enjoy cooking you should find this journey interesting, lots of recipes and ideas on the pinned threads as well as a general welcome to all newbies.
Good luck!

Your doing so good I hope this happens to me Kim x
Welcome to the forum, lots of ideas, recipes and nice supportive people here. I had a similar amount of weight to lose just over a year ago, much of it I already lost before finding this page, lost more here, and now have 2-3 stones left. Keep at it and you will succeed! 🌞
Welcome!
Dairy must be a really tricky one to avoid! Is it dairy itself or just the lactose you have trouble with? (Sorry to be nosy, you don't have to say if you don't want )
I'm on my third round of the 12-week plan and have found it really helpful. So far I've lost just over 2 1/2 stone since mid-January but, even more importantly, am feeling so much fitter than I was. Which is my goal, to be healthy rather than out of shape and blobby. I'm well on my way now.
Good luck!
Hi Vicki
I'm allergic to whey protein in dairy, which pops up in so many things you would not believe! I'm kind of used to it now, but I do miss cheese
I have anaphylaxis to shellfish so avoid like the plague.
I've got the inspiration of my cousin's wedding next June so I'd love to be close to target by then 😍

Wow! That is a problem. You should definitely avoid those then! :S
My younger stepdaughter was diagnosed as a coeliac a couple of years ago so I know what you mean. I couldn't believe what was in stuff until I had to start reading the labels!
Good luck reaching your goal! I'm sure you'll be much closer by the time June rolls around.
