Heya thanks for tip I think I'll try this. I don't get on with my fitness pal I find it a bit confusing. I like that nutrachrck add the data themselves. Works out at £2 a week which is worth it. I'm using a notepad and pen ATM but I think an app would be easier.

😊

Nutracheck Links well to fit bit. I like the pictures it makes it simple.

You can also add other exercise housework gardening caring for others etc. It works out calories used. ☺

Hi Clinicalgirl,

I use Myfitnesspal, but not sure if you can access that via iPhone?

We did a poll about apps and this is the resulting poll results if they would be helpful to you:

Lowcal :-)

I like MFP; also like very much that it's free! I was using a fitness app on my Samsung and just suddenly got a message that 'terms and conditions had changed' and to sign to agree to them having what looked like every aspect of data; I don't wish to share my health with them so signed out. I suspect all that data about what we all eat down to brands etc would be very desirable to a lot of food producers also....

I use myfitnesspal too. It's fab because I can use it on my android phone at work and sync it with my ipad too. It also syncs with my fitbit so works out the calories I've burnt with exercise. Best of all it's free.

Yes same for Nutracheck. I like the pictures to ensure you are logging the correct food is correct calories. Sometimes there are 3-4 different types of the same food and the calories can vary between them.

Also barcode scanning is good.

Not what you're looking for?
