BREAKING THE SPELL

I can be very good all day long and eat only good things. Then in the evening, I crack and I eat something I shouldn't. Why can't I keep up the good work all day long??

You might need to plan your meals to eat a bit later so that you pre-empt the nibbles with a proper meal? Or plan in some snacks to take the edge off the cravings?

Low cal hot choc is nice and maybe have it with a slice of bran cake or some toast & peanut butter?

I find by forcing myself not to eat "bad stuff" it makes me want it even more... so what I did was buy a bag of hershy's chocolate kisses and put them in my fridge door... after my evening meal, once the dish washer is loaded, I have 2 or 3 kisses and that is enough chocolate to make me feel like I've had some but not enough to spoil the good work of the day. I've had the same bag in the fridge for over 3 weeks now and there are still some left. It's kind of my treat but in moderation. There's no way I could have a bar of chocolate and only eat a little of it or have a bag of crisps and only eat half of the bag... so by having the kisses that are individually wrapped it helps me keep control :-).

Fat free yoghurts are always good when I have the munchies too or sugar free jelly as someone else has already said... it's finding what suits you that allows you to feel like you have ever had something nice without too many calories.

Keep us posted with what you try out x
