Well, am feeling completely exhausted, but feel pleased too. I've just done 20 minutes on the exercise bike - 9.2km! I'm pleased because I have only been back on the bike for a week as before this I was in too much arthritis pain in knees and hips. So I started off last Saturday doing 10 minutes and have gradually increased it over the week. I don't feel any pain - just feel my heart is about to explode even after nearly half an hours rest afterwards! Not good - I'm sure it'll get better - either that or I'll explode!
I started the 12 week plan in the middle of April and as of this week I have lost 3 stones and 6lbs. I feel so much better physically and mentally, but know I still have a long way to go.... Thanks for all the support on here, I love reading all the posts and hearing of everyone's successes. We're in it together everyone! ππ

Wow you are doing so so well and exercising like that tooβοΈβοΈβοΈ I didn't start till 19th May so on week 14 now and upping the exercise is something I need to do so I am going to start the c25k tomorrow if I fail at that it will be back to walking/treadmill I am afraid. But you should feel so proud of yourself especially with the pain as well. πππ Best wishes Bev
Hi just wanted to say, I am on week 7 of the c25k. I am no runner, overweight and exercise averse, but started the program and have never looked back! It's not easy, every run is a challenge, but I would encourage you to have a go! If I can, anyone can π
Thanks for thatπ I am in the same boat but today I will give it a go, glad you are doing so well but more than that enjoying the experience. Best Wishes Bevπππ
Well done and yes, I can understand the heart thing, I get that too and feel shaky for a while afterwards but that's only because we're not use to pushing ourselves like that! Keep at it!

I had a short shot of my exercise bike and when I came off my legs were wobbly. A fitness instructor says it is because it's unnatural. You have inspired me to go back on it. Thank you and we'll done to you
Congratulations on your weight loss 3st6lb is a fantastic achievement no wonder your feeling better both mentally and physically π
Well done for persevering with your exercise bike and easing yourself in slowly is the best approach ... im sure you wont explode ... just listen to your body and take it slowly π
