Good morning to everyone and hope you are all doing well.
I know this is late, but this week I have lost 2 lbs bringing my total to 39 lbs so far.
I am loving this new look on me smaller clothes on both top and bottom and just been shopping for some more clothes to add to the new me. Not bought much though cause I plan on getting to the next size down.
I went to Blackpool and managed to stay within my calories so pleased with that. I also managed to walk 2 hours 48 mins and let me tell you I couldn't walk any further.
I have recently discovered a machine at the gym I am loving at the moment which is the recumbent bike. I have never been able to sit on the standard bike without it causing pain, but this bike is excellent and doesn't cause pain in the bottom so yeah loving it. I have managed to get up to level 14 on this. Also this week I have gone from 5 sit ups and have been practising these all week long and have got all the way up to 25 in one go and 20 leg raises. I hadn't realised just how out of shape my core muscles were until I started these.
I am really happy with my progress so far and look forward to the journey ahead.
Have a great week everyone x

WELL DONE. Once again you are inspiring me, I Will continue the will power battle. I do so want to wear some smaller clothes. If health doesn't inspire me, shear vanity must. So thank you Trafford1 I will fight on.
Hi mum1955, thank you for your kind words. This is what keeps me going and staying motivated every single day. I don't remember a day when I was not motivated to do something since I started this journey. It's great to hear from you and wish you continued success on your journey.
Well done another great loss. Well done also for sticking to your calories while you were away. Glad you are loving the new you, new smaller clothes make you feel great, careful can be addictive to keep buying them lol. Well done on increasing your core exercises shows how far you have come. Good luck for the week ahead keep up the good work
Thank you fibronfedup. I have a range of outfits for when I return to work and know I look good in them. I can't wait for everyone to see the new me and the new look lol. I do feel great and full of energy and am going to continue to shed this weight. At the end of this week I should be in wonderland (you know what I mean)
Thats awesome good for you!! Im close to wonderland, only 1st and ill be right there with you I cant wait. They wont know whats hit them enjoy the feeling and remember it for when you have a bad day really helps
Congratulations on losing 2 pounds. That's so great! Wow, you did a really long walk in Blackpool. Glad you're enjoying using the recumbent bike, and also doing all those core exercises - you're doing lots of sit-ups now - 25 in one go is really good!
Hi Lowcal, thank you. I've just got back from using this bike and it's one of the best things I have dared to try out in the gym recently. Just love it. The core exercises have been really hard, but I am determined to reach 50 sit ups and I know it's just a mater of time before I get to this stage. It will be like being back in high school when I had no problems at all doing these lol. I have had 4 children and haven't done any core exercises since my first so this must be a shock for my tummy muscles too haha.
Here's wishing you another great week ahead to Lowcal x
Wow that's fantastic trafford, so great that you are feeling so good about yourself! Yet again, giving me inspiration! Keep up the good work! Best of luck for the coming week 🌸
Thank you so much Anna999, I am very focused on achieving so much more. I think that this time I am in a place where I am able to find that time to commit to myself I have a new found energy and find that I thrive off a good work out and it does make me want more. I can't seem to stop trying on clothes at the moment just to see how I look. And I must admit I am HAPPY!!
Good luck this coming week at your weigh in. Stay strong and focused and remember to plan every single day. Best wishes x
I love saying "anything is possible" and I am no stranger to this right now. If we believe in ourselves and have an " I can" attitude, then yes anything is possible. Best of luck to you Anna999 x " you can " too
Hi saxgirl6, thank you for your reply. It sounds like you are also doing a great job so well done to you to.
Knowing when to change things up is key and pushing yourself that little bit further will always make a difference. I incorporate weights into my workouts to, as building muscle helps to burn more calories and gives us definition. As the weeks pass I know I will reach 50 sit up in no time. I always seem to set a new goal for myself and I love this and it keeps me well motivated. I never stick to one or two things there is always a mix in my routine and it's good to mix it up as you grow stronger and fitter.
Your friend has done an amazing job losing 45 lbs. Sounds like shes got what it takes. I'm glad you have found what works for you. Keep up the good work and stay focused. You'll do amazing x
Thank you wombat3838. They say don't do the same thing over and over as your body will get used to this, well my body doesn't want to do the same thing. I am capable of so much more and I am willing to try anything new. This keeps me motivated everyday. Best wishes on your journey wombat3838
