Hope you all are doing great. I was doing good in the first 4days of the week, then I made plum jam at home as there was quite a lot of plums collected from my tree. Then I just kept eating too much jam .I love that jam as it's my mum's special recipe which I still remember. But shame on me for losing control to eat a big quantity. What can I do just will see tomorrow's weight in.
However , not good hopes. Have to try my best for the next week.
Thanks all for being there to listen me.
Awan.

No use beating yourself up about it - but why not go for a really brisk, long walk to make up for the extra calories? Might make tomorrows weigh-in a little less daunting.
Your Mum's special recipe Plum jam, I bet that is delicious! But like you say, it can sometimes get out of control if you don't keep an eye on the portions. Like PippiRuns says, don't be hard on yourself, just move forward and have a great week ahead, and I'd like to wish you success for tomorrow's weigh-in.
I've overdone things myself this weekend - and I'm apprehensive too about the weigh-in, but we can do this, be accountable I mean, and just ensure we have a healthy and happy week ahead.
Hi Awan I too make plum jam, delicious, but what I have done lately is used a third of sweetener, instead of suger,I suppose you could play around with it say half and half, yes it's not exactly the same but it's still lovely,I also use a little extra pectin,(usually lemon juice) so it still thickens, then you also don't feel quite as guilty.
I used about not 100%,not 50% but only 25% of sugar according to the fruit content. I was nice to some lemon juice but no pectin. Which sweetener u used ?I never used sweetener.
Hi Awan,I think if you are already on 25%of suger to 100% plums that is fabulous,(you have already got the natural suger in the plums haven't you) so I think your way is great, as a rule I would use depending on the fruit, 90%suger, not every fruit needs pectin( ie lemon juice),but I add it usually especially if I am lowering the suger content, when you lower the suger your jam may not set well, but with the acidity from the lemon its helps it set, it's great if you add the low type suger (not cheap) but I use the ordinary splenda or something similar, same result,my way is very old fashioned, with a low suger twist, but I like your way, yours mum receipe sounds fabulouse, as it's still not high in suger.
