hi i am about to start this program...does anyone have any tips...i love my food....and i eat out of boredom...my job involves me sitting at a desk all day...and i snack all day long...any advice would be great...thanks

Welcome to the Weight Loss NHS forum, and it's great to hear you're about to start the NHS 12 week plan. Hi suesue! i used to sit at a desk all day at my job and gained 75 pounds in 8 years. we were not supposed to snack while we were at work, i was a customer care rep on the phone, but we did. i used to do puzzles like 500 piece puzzles of a pretty horizon or whatever but i still snacked. i used to snack out of boredom too but now i try to eat 3 meals a day at the dinner table with a plate and a napkin, sort of like an event rather than just a meal. i do snacks that way too. i try not to eat in the car, which i used to do really bad, and standing up all that good stuff. it is just a habit you kind of have to try to break with a good habit to take its place.
