Since I will be really busy Monday, I've decided to weigh myself today. I weigh 120 pounds! Pretty good, but I want to go down a little more.
Talk later!

Good weekend Ken was helping install electric I played with my grand kids indooors the weather was cold and wet. Lego's and coloring-Kate relaxed and ran some errands for lunch and dinner. We did not finish until near midnight causing some sugar reactions thank goodness for my Dexcom. We stop for a late dinner only thin open beside bars was Buffallo Wild Wings was good needed to get my numbers up still had to OJ even we got home and have a bowl of cereal. We laughed we had not stayed until 1:30 for so many years. We enjoyed ourselves. Yesterday listened to my neuro and rested I'm only to expend energy 20 min's Then rest he is going to be tight on this he gave directions to my husband we all laughed because I'm an energized bunny unless sick. He was not happy with the hospital blood work they had not given it to him I was not at a hospital he works. The second one I made sure Ken would take me there much father from home and rooms not nearly as nice. The hospital close to us has private ICU rooms and much better service by doctors I had 8 private. They had a rep. who discussed my hospitalization with my family doctor she was awesome. Stayed bedside during the difficult hours, although I do not recall my husband told me.
Going to dinner with my son's step mom going to hang out at the Cheese Cake Factory.
Have a good afternoon
hi-I just have been thru hell quitting smoking after 50 years--part of it being that eating thing I posted about--not to mention a myriad of the weirdest and awful withdrawal symptoms--Ive gained a lot of weight and of course it has effected my self esteem as I am small boned 5'2 and never been fat--I know how to diet but this is something different--Its like the awfullest gnawing feeling every 3 or 4 hrs--and wont stop till I eat--and not carrot sticks--It is getting worse--I posted on diabetes site and have to say the guy who replied was not very nice--No more of that site--At this point Im just out of control trying to keep this gnawing, weakness, etc at bay--plus breathing problems--Ive had to learn to rebreathe- so makes exercise hard--AS you can imagine I feel as hopeless as I sound-I never would have quit had I known I was going to suffer like this--anyway--thanks for writing--don't kno if I should even be on site at this point but thought maybe someone had experienced this weird phenomena that I am--xxxx MmeT
The DRWF site for HU will be okay for you. Give it a chance. Really nice members who are willing to help.
I remember this, I gave up 10 years ago after 35 years smoking, I felt awful couldn't get enough sugar/chocolate and I had terrible breathing problems. I went from 10 stone to 16.9 and although I'm still struggling with my weight after several operations (not smoking related) I'm a lot healthier and happier.
So firstly keep calm, it takes a while but you will learn to control the cravings, (I actually found looking at anything chocolate/sweet and thinking of raw offal worked😱) keep healthy snacks in the house and if necessary avoid having any naughty treats within easy reach. the breathing can take a lot longer (and obviously extra weight won't help) I still find I breathe heavily on a brisk walk uphill. We really don't know what damage we have done but giving up smoking is and I promise you will make you feel a lot better in the long term.
Don't ever think you shouldn't be on here, we are a friendly helpful bunch and I for 1 would be happy for you to message me anytime 💜 xx Kat
