Bank Holiday Treat

Been good all day and eaten healthily and been a longish walk with the dogs, then had some bad news that my neighbour of 28 years who is in hospital following an operation might not make it, she has developed a blood clot and terrible infection, so sad, keeping everything crossed for her. I've treated myself to a fish and peas from the local chippy, suppose you would call it comfort eating, still not over my calories though.

oh dear, it's those times that usually get to us all, but still in your daily limit, so a big well done.

Hi Caz28,

Really sorry to hear the news of your neighbour.  I really hope she can pull through this.  There is still hope, and maybe she'll be ok.  Like you say, fingers and everything else crossed.

Fish and chips and peas is not a bad meal - hope you enjoy it.  Like you say, you're within your calories too.

Hope you have a good evening, and I really hope your neighbour can pull through this.

Lowcal :-)

Rotten news Caz28  , and it's understandable that you've treated yourself at this sad time. The fact that you are staying within your calorie allowance shows that even in bad times you can cope. Hope things improve for your neighbour.
