Not 'high' carb but I do like carbs and eat 5/6 servings a day (25g servings) πππ best plan ever, lost 14 kg and still going downΒ

Yes Anna not really high at all 6x25g a day of carbs that is 150g total a day. That does not seem "high". According to NHS recommendations RI of carbs is 260g a day. But great weight loss Β
I am sticking to the calorie count per day and carbs up 100g so not far behind you!Β

Thank you Anna, and so are you! I leave for Cyprus on Sunday and I am confident of being able to fit into clothes that I have over there that I last fitted into 12-13 years ago! Trousers and shirts etc so I am travelling very light going out!Β
I looked at my diary this week and saw that my original target was to reach 16 stones by this time, I have reached 15st 5lbs so I am really pleased how this has gone for me.Β
The extra 2kgs to lose by Monday is probably not going to happen for me Β
It won't be long before you are off to Spain will it? Have you managed to make a dent in your 2ks target?Β

Have a lovely time John, and enjoy all the lovely food π In a hot country I'm sure I would eat healthily with all the fruit and salads π I have never been to Cyprus but it looks beautiful π
I have almost four weeks but I'm not stressing, I'm down to a size 14/16 and like you, wearing some favourite clothes again. But the major benefit for me is being able to WALK, especially for the couple of days in Barcelona with my 21 year old daughter β€οΈ

It has been hard work but so worth it, I feel so much better and my quality of life has improved so much.
how long did it take you?
I started last September, so about 7 months now, I still have a way to go yet before I am in the healthy range for my height.

I love carbs and have tryed to cut down. But with out carbs what can you eat lol βΉοΈ
if you are interested in how to lose weight while not giving up carbs you might want to read 'the starch solution' - or go to youtube and watch the talk'the starch solution' by john mcdougall
Just chose your carbs with care. Leave out the heavily processed sort and go for the high fibre ones. This site has a good list.
