Hi Gareth

I don't own a wii so this might be a silly question, but is your wii on a hard floor? I'd try and put both devices on the same floor, preferably on the same spot and try again.

If in doubt, get yourself weighed in at your GP once, then you'd know which one is closer to the truth 😊

Good luck!

Good advice from foodie there.

Also don't worry about the difference to track progress just use the same one every week. On a weekly basisit is the loss that is important not the reading.

Then when you have had a great loss go back to GP for the weigh in.

Sounds daft but it might not matter that much. Just use one scale, positioned in the same place and weigh yourself weekly on it. The original weight might be incorrect but you can still track how much you've lost if that makes sense? Xx

Only EVER use one set of scales and weigh yourself same day, same time. Morning is better, as the day progresses you gain fluid, during the night when asleep your body naturally loses fluid, perspiring etc. You could weigh yourself on 6 sets of scales and they'd probably all give a different outcome. So, to recap..same day, same time, same scales and preferably in the morning when you get up. Good luck this week. X

Pick one.  It's about how much you lose.  So the difference between where you were and where you are now.  If you want to check it, pick a day when you can get to a pharmacy with a calibrated set of scales.  Ask them to weigh you.  Then go home and get weighed wearing exactly what you did at the chemist's.  Don't eat, drink or go to the bathroom in between.  You will then know which of your scales are the most accurate and by how much they are out.  It's all a bit approximate on scales, unless they are perfectly maintained and set up.  It's about the direction you are going in, up or down.  Most of us start off really fixated on accuracy.  But after losing my 5 stone and a year at goal, I have begun to realise how approximate I can be.  Just use common sense and don't sweat the details.

Not what you're looking for?
