Hi June,

I'm not feeling stuck in a complete rut, but I do feel that it's been a harder week than usual, mainly due to my time of the month, and I haven't kept up with my Strength exercises, but I'm trying to keep positive, and hope that you will also be able to surface from feeling as if you're in a rut - that can't be a good feeling!

What things do you think might help to make you feel better, and back in the 'groove' - sounds better than a rut, doesn't it... :-)

Let's get our groove on - no more ruts.

Maybe think of how the weekend could be different, and what might help you to feel motivated and inspired. Maybe try something new?

Good luck, and hope you feel better soon.

Lowcal :-)

Oh yes worse when you see no progress in weight loss or even in measurement.

You can start over again, I have bought a pair of pants/top and pj's size 12 currently size 14 (my pj's are well worn). Everytime I get fed up I look at these. That is my goal

What is your goal? What will give you that extra boast? Once found then do something so you visually see what it could be.

Good luck and don't get made at yourself manyof us have been there or going through it.

Hi June. Yes I'm also in the rut club😊except mine is more of a ravine than a rut. I've had some great advice from the lovely people on this forum & I'm hoping to be back on the right path very soon. I think it's important to forgive ourselves, draw a line under it & plough on

Yes I'm a bit stuck. But I'm trying to chill about it and not get too freaked out. I'm concentrating on exercise (running) at the moment in the hope that at some point I will become one of those lean, mean running machines (by magic, of course). Weight is not really going anywhere, I'll probably have a gain this week, which will put me back to where I was the week before... and the week before that ..... and the week before that - you get the gist.

I need to lose another 5 kg to reach my goal, which is the middle of my BMI range. I'm no longer overweight, but at the very top of the healthy range and I think my motivation has just gone.

Me too, it's a shit !!!!!

I found it hard getting started with losing the last bit of weight to get more securely into my healthy bmi range. I only have a few lbs to lose but it was going up and down and up again and I was also thinking what's going on. I think you have to just plough on as Suzie54 says. I've hit on a great new healthy eating programme by the way - being too busy to snack! If anyone else fancies doing 2 jobs at the same time, it could be an option... The lbs seem to be finally shifting over the past couple of weeks! I agree with the advice about exercise. It gives you endorphins and endorphins help you feel motivated. But I think part of it is you just have to be patient until things come together. Good luck June1965 :)
