MIXED UP POST...

.... well , I did very little today as feeling very off. Cancelled all planned gym action (grrr!) and made food for the inevitable Sunday lunch tomorrow. Still seem OK on calories, need to check that because probably not right.

Can't find the entry for kilometres today - 4.2 ....

Having put all that negativity out there, I went through wardrobes and drawers and found shocking quantities of clothes that ARE WAY TOO BIG!! Also dresses and tops. Some still with tags.... genuinely rather ashamed of that actually. I could start a black jeans shop; anyway, it's all going. I'm not going to hold onto stuff thinking 'I might get bigger again' tbh; if I do, it's going to be temporary and I'm not going back into clothes which will just let me maintain there; here's to clearing out. Shoes seem to be ok...

Not every day is a gym day. life can get in the way. As long as your focus is still in tact that us what counts. You probably burnt a few calories sorting out that wardrobe.

Think of all that lovely space and the things that might be going in there. Lots of lovely colours this year.

Yup. I'm a hoarder. Decades of stuff in there. Interestingly, a lot of the stuff that very obviously has to go I've bought quite recently (last 2 or so years) and there's loads of stuff from before that fits me now (or nearly) - trying to be more ruthless. No point keeping all this stuff if I don't wear it. I'm sure someone else will be glad of it.

I kept all my wardrobe until a year ago. I though I would get back into some of it one day. Then I threw 75 % of it away. Six months later I started on this process. I don't know if I needed to be rid but I don't regret it. I have not yet chucked my stuff which is too big because as an art ( mature) student I don't want to get dye, paint, ink etc on any new things.

Definately get stuff you don't need to the charity shop.

Hi Frankie, Great post. You remind me that the people who do manage to achieve their goals have all figured out how to get through those terrible dark negative patches. You clearly won that round. I hope I get through my next bad patch. 😀

Let the clothes go... I have had to throw about 11 bags of clothes and it felt great. I depend on charity shops for replacements because I still want to drop one or two more sizes. All the money goes on shoes and sports bras!!! I

Hi Frankie53,

I am glad to hear your shoes are still ok. You've done a lot of clearing out of clothes, and that must feel good! I haven't been to the gym either for a few days - having been away on a city break, I just don't feel like taking myself to the gym - hopefully next week, all being well. :-)

Like Aqua says, not every day is a gym day.

Hope Sunday is going well for you so far, and enjoy your lunch.

Lowcal :-)
