Hi Little_Bee,

Welcome! I hope you'll enjoying being part of the forum, and it's great to hear you're starting the NHS 12 week plan today. You've shared your starting weight, which is a really great first step, and hopefully today will be the heaviest you'll be, and you can look forward to being lighter and enjoying the plan. Many of us use an app to help us keep track of the food and drink intake, as it does make that side of it so much easier - e.g. something like Myfitnesspal, but there are others too.

We have a Monday group weigh-in, if you fancy being part of a larger group weigh-in - you can see a link to it in the 'Events' section (top right-hand-side of homepage) - so do give it a look if you think you might be interested. You'd be very welcome to join us. Everyone is welcome.

There are lots of other things going on in the forum too - including an 'Around the World in 80 Days Challenge' by Fizzyliz - that's really good fun. Just look at her profile and you'll see the most recent post there.

Wishing you a great first week.

Lowcal :-)

Welcome to the forum little bee and good luck with the 12 week plan. You will find lots of help and support on the forum and the 12 week plan will work for you so long as you follow the guidelines. I have been on the plan for 4 weeks now, (I started a few days earlier before signing up), and I have lost 9lbs so far, which is pretty much what I "signed up" for :-) A loss of around 2lbs a week is absolutely fine with me. I can start to set myself short and long term targets knowing that if I follow the plan it will deliver the results : Good luck and enjoy your first week. :-) John

Hi little bee, welcome to this brilliant forum! Everyone's so helpful and encouraging, after all we're "all in the same boat" this is only my fourth week and I don't know what I'd do without it! Actually I probably would have given up! So I hope you have a great week! And see you around the forum! Good luck 😊
