Hi FizzyLiz,
I love your new name - very effervescent and full of life - really positive name, very apt. I also love the photo of Angor Wat - beautiful. I am looking forward to our visit there. I must ensure I have some kms to report back by the end of the day - so I'll be off to walk some steps as and when I get opportunity today!
Will be back later to report back my results.
Lowcal
Today is going to be a big fat zero km unless I get out and brave that howling gale - perhaps I should pin a photo of Ricky onto the dog's bum...
13.66km for yesterday
I love that picture Lizzy! I also lost my internet connection yesterday before getting a chance to comment on our stats. I get more gobsmacked each week. It seemed like such a tall order to be able to clock up 501K's every day, but we're absolutely blowing that total out of the water! It's a staggering achievement by ordinary people doing extraordinary things. I'm so proud to be part of this team of intrepid travellers. WTG everyone, you rock!!
My totals today are
Walking - 6.2
Cycling - 10.8
Total - 17K's
I haven't had a go on my rower, because my shoulder hurts and I don't want to mess things up for later
Ooh what's happening later ? 😉 Trying to book a suitable act for the steamer tonight. Ricky needs time to recover 😂😱😁
WHAT??!! But I was saving myself for Ricky now that Lucca's blown away!
It better be someone good then!
Do you watch Graham Norton? Jack Savoretti was on it the other week - very lovely 🙄😍 He's an option or there is Michael Buble? Either of those?
Oh you can keep Michael Bubble...
I was thinking Gerard Butler could call by...
Any chance of finding someone a little more mature, but still gorgeous
Buble doesn't look appealing on the beach 😳
Not just on the beach...
Angkor Watt - I was lucky enough to work there back in the day.
7.9 km for me. Massive waves, howling wind, roaring fires. perfect holiday.
2.8 for me today. Just ordered a fitbit as I think that my ancient (almost as old as those temples!) pedometer isn't counting everything. That's my story and I'm sticking to it...
I can believe that Saga! The only time mine recorded steps, was when I was in the car!!
Perhaps you have a Flintstones car
5.54 kms for me today 🙂
Hi Lizzy, Moreless & Everyone,
My results for today (Tuesday 26th January 2016) are as follows:
Walking: 9.5 kms.
Lowcal
Evening I braved the dog walk for all of 2.3k before retreating back inside
I am amazed, that is a stunning view.
I worked out hard today and clocked up another personal best 19.73kms!
WOOHOO! You're after toppling Prin off her perch now aren't you?!
WTG you! That's fantastic
I don't think I could manage that, LOL!
And thank you (and well done for braving the weather, it is decidedly ugh at the moment).
Hi,
I hope you don't mind but I took a virtual detour today and ended up walking across the Sea Cliff Bridge NSW Australia. It was rather pleasant and took about 25 minutes
Unfortunately it was hissing down again here in rainy Devon so I decided to do a virtual walk. Tried walking on the spot but it is quite tiring so ended up wandering around the house like a mad woman! Hubby wandered off bored after about 3 minutes.
By my calculations I did about 2km but no idea really
I sympathise sueper - twas horrible weather here today
12.8 km today (Tuesday). More pottering around the office so a bit higher than yesterday. Still far too inactive at work though.
Still a great number JC, maybe you should mention to your manager that in the interest of preventing repetitive strain injury, all employees should walk for 1K every hour
I'm sure he wouldn't mind. As long as the work gets done!
There you go then!
Might make for a bit of a long day. Wouldn't have time for my walk after work. Counter-productive!
1hr 15 mins max and probably not that long, because it would have the effect of making you more efficient at your job in order to get home
Hi all. Tuesday kms - me 7.1kms pottering and dragging my rain fearing dog out in the storm!!! Jog-on - 27.2kms - 7km steps at work, 6.5 cross trainer, 4.2 treadmill, 4.5 rowing and 5 walking the rain loving dogs
Hope the storm doesn't affect our journey - I get really travel sick (might help lose a few lbs tho...)
Happy travels peeps
Hi Lizzy!
I managed a total of 27.6 km Tuesday. 26.6 in spin class and 1 km on the cross trainer.
Thanks
Hi Geza, it's great that you've decided to join us, especially as you clock up some stupendous K's!!
Welcome aboard!
Thanks! All part of the training for my 106 km trek in April
That's going to be epic!
Sure is. 24 hours continuous walking around the Isle of Wight. I did a 100 km in April last year, but it took me 31 hours. I'm 2 1/2 stone lighter this time (so far) and have done so much more training.
I'm in awe! The most I've managed is 16K's, which is pretty feeble!
Not at all! I think any amount is a feat. It's too easy to be lazy. I should know, I was the ultimate lazy boy not so long ago. I wasn't active and ate mainly junk and takeaways. 16k to me back then would have sounded a world away.
