First week of my 12 week plan - weight loss

Quite pleased with my first week weight loss of 3 lbs, i have stuck to the calorie limits daily and only one day did i drink too much wine and eat cream cakes :-( I have started an exercise regime at the gym now, slowly increasing my activities each day. I am keeping my fingers crossed to achieve an interim target of 16 stones, which means a weight loss of 22lbs, by 21st April when I will be going to Cyprus on holiday :-)

Hi Kantara,

That's a great result, Congratulations on losing 3 pounds in your first week.

Hope you're enjoying your exercise regime at the gym. Lovely that you have your holiday in Cyprus to look forward to in April - a great motivator.

Have a great week.

Lowcal :-)

Thank you lowcal :-) yes I am enjoying the gym, they are only open during the week 9-5 so i am getting into a routine of exercise/shower then ready to face the day!

Well done on losing 3 lbs in your first week. I think 22 lbs is very achievable by the 21st April. I would like to suggest that if you are going to have wine and cake that you have one day a week put aside for such treats and the rest of the time be good. There's no harm in my opinion in having a day off, but it's best planned into your schedule :-)

I have a planned day off every week :-)

thanks trafford, i shall have to stop mentioning wine and cakes ;-) I really am doing without them, you are right of course in that if you weaken for one day it is no big deal just make up for it next day or so,

Wow 3lbs loss in a week is fantastic! You are doing great! Keep going and before you know it all your unwanted pounds will shift off.

Enjoy the gym. I loved the gym. One gets all nice and sweaty and one feels I have worked very well! :)
