Hi joined on the 5th, but have not printed off chart yet. Thought I would take advice from others on the NHS weight loss plan. So far invaluable help, realised I was not eating enough veg and fruit and drinking enough water also not exercising enough. Walked every day since Sunday, reduced amount of cheese eaten daily.( thought it was healthy) . Only one treat a day , chocolate biscuit . Weighed myself today, lost a pound . Delighted as I have not gone below 11 st for ages. Will start seriously on Monday.

Hi Mauradoc1511,

Congratulations on losing 1 pound, that is really great! You mentioned you've not been below 11 stone for ages, so it must feel really good - those transitions are brilliant!

Hope you've enjoyed all those walks, and that you're enjoying the weekend. Glad you're finding the forum helpful, and hope you'll join in with lots of things.

Looking forward to seeing you around and about in the forum.

Good on you. Do it slowly so you get used to it and you can get away from your craving.

I loooove cheese and have a couple of very very thin slices on cruskits maybe once a week. Like that I am happy and I am still within my calory count.

You are doing well

Thanks for your comment. Funny thing is I thought eating three crackers and cheese every day for lunch was not fattening. That is what is good about this forum , the help you get get from each other.

Well done on losing a pound this week and welcome to this forum :-)

The nhs 12 week plan is just brilliant and it's great that you have been walking everyday and eating more fruit and veg. This forum is such a great place to share your journey with other like minded people.

I wish you many successes and best wishes x
