Welcome to the forum and it's great to hear you're renewing your Wedding vows at the end of February, as it's good to have something to work towards in terms of your goals. Doing your Dry January should definitely help too - and I hope you'll enjoy the NHS 12 week plan. Using an app to help you to keep track of food and drink intake and exercise can also help - something like Myfitnesspal for example, which is free and easy to use.
If you fancy a group weigh-in, then please do consider joining us for the Monday Group Weigh-in - I'll be posting it just before 7am tomorrow, and it's a friendly supportive group. You'd be very welcome to join us, if you like that idea, but no worries if not - as I can appreciate it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Wishing you success with your goals, and hope to see you around and about in the forum.
Welcome Beano, you are in the right place. Not only the program will help you lose weight but will teach you good healthy eating habits for the future. Have you consider doing the C25K running program? It is magic. Not only you will be fitter but your body will firm up. Good luck with this new challenge
