Hi all I'm need motivation to diet.4 stone has to go .I've had a great overindulgence time over Xmas.no time to lose it.i don't want to go to slimming classes and the like or to a gym.i want to do it by myself for myself anybody else feel the same ta....

I am doing it on my own. A lot of people follow nhs 12 week plan which I prefer points but I have cut out sugar, dairy, yeast and eggs and red eat due to health issues plus I joined aerobics class and tons of walking. Join in Monday weigh in group here which is fabulous run by Lowcal.

Keep posting and everyone here is so supportive.

Hi. I don't belong to any club. The forum is very supportive. There are lots of lovely people here and help each other focus. Welcome.

I did join a gym after a few weeks. Some exercise does help.

I have done Weight Watchers twice and although it was ok, still don't feel groups are for me and I can't pay to get healthy. I use My Fitness Pal, a free calorie counting app and have lost 23 lbs with 21 to lose. Mi have also done Couch to 5k which is a plan for non runners taking you to being able to run for 30 minutes, and that is also free - I hate the gym and love the great outdoors. What are you thinking will help u?

Thanks for your support I have no health issues so need to get cracking and lose some weight.my motivation is to get back into my jeans.i must have tem pair's hanging in wardrobe doing nowt

Starting diet Friday instaf of usual Monday.mind over matter....
