They have no appeal to me tho, Boja Boja are the best chocs here..........like large sugar cubes, vegan, dairy free, and very expensive, their 'fix' value is very intense , leaving you not wanting much!
Hope you are ok, and that your weigh in was not as bad as expected
Hmm it's about where I expected but the difference for me is I am not getting tied up in nuts over it.I seem to have hot a happy balance of wanting to eat right but if I don't I do not beat myself up about it. I really hope that attitude lasts for awhile,.
I agree with Diana, no appeal... similar to cronuts - I don't think we are doomed lol no one is force feeding us
I've decided it's not about resisting temptation but just remembering how these things make you feel, physically.
I went on a binge last week because I was thinking it's holiday period so I should just enjoy food, but within a few days I started to feel bloated, heavy, out of breathe and it's not enjoyable at all
So I have actually calmed it down - not dieting, but eating better because it makes my body feel better internally.
Its so true isn't it. For the first time in a long time I forced myself to not respond to being hungry for a couple hours and I felt so much lighter and more agile just from that. Food can make such a difference in our bodies so quickly.
Saying that, I can see kids going mad for them. I definitely wouldn't be buying them for mine !!! That rubbery cheese is bad enough- thinking about chocolate with that texture make me feel ill already π
Are they actually cheesy chocolate though ? Because if it's just sliced chocolate, then I could live with that
Mmm Dave not sure, but I do like chocolate and crisps together !!

Oh yes - great combination ! Did you ever try those salted chocolate pretzels that were out a while ago - yum
I said in another comment its almost like there is a competition to see how much fat, sugar and salt can be forced into a single food item - taco shell made from woven bacon!
Gosh I'd forgotten about that - I used to like that too.
I also went through a phase of chilli crisps and strawberry milk together. I could go through a huge back of chilli crisps and a litre of strawberry milk in no time!
Not sure they appeal to me either, I have been avoiding heavily processed foods since I started and it is now not something that tickles my fancy. My goodness, I would rather eat an apple - what has become of me??
The food giants know exactly what to do to feed our food addictions and make heaps of money out of us, closely followed by the drug industry who develop the "cures" for our obesity related diseases!
This is why pure, unadulterated produce is the only way to go.
SO true - I recently finished a book called Fat, Sugar, Salt about the industry and its unthinkable what they do to keep us addicted. "Bliss point" is something that they strive for with food, even reshaping salt crystals so that they are flatter and hit the tongue with a more intense salt burst or sugar where they have had to increase the sugar load about 20% in some confectionary in the past decade because kids are becoming more and more accustomed to heavily sugared foods and are demanding higher sugar loads.
These practices should be illegal, but just like tobacco manufacturers, they make governments heaps in taxation revenue and whilst being superficially condemned, they actually form the backbone of the economic stability of the western world.
Deep fried Mars Bars are seriously delicious - and I don't like 'naked' Mars Bars. However, I only want to eat one once a year and in practice only have them every two years so probably not going to hell in a handbasket over that one.
I saw these chocolate slices on Facebook but didn't realise that they were a cheese/chocolate crossover thing. There is a chocolate cheese spread available here but I've never tried it.
What is a cronut?
Your garden is looking great! Once the grass is growing it will be lovely. What will the next project be?
Next project....hmmmm....I really don't know. I have some other small garden beds that need some love but as for a major project I'd love to say that will be getting my body back in shape
A cronut is a recent invention and is a marriage between a croissant and a dont. All the rage in the U.S., have never had one but all reports indicate they are addictive - and incredibly high in fat, sugar...everything!
Dave's back, hoorayπ . Yesterday after an office party I ate a third of a brownie freshly baked by one of the staff at our local coffee shop. It was made with very dark chocolate and sour cream yesterday. It was insanely good, incredibly rich, crusty and slightly gooey at the same time and filled me up for four hours. It was a good reminder of what really good food is.
