Really bad couple of days
I know due to my working hours it's gone a bit pear shaped. Back on track tomorrow but it's likely I will have put in weight rather than lost it this week.
Hi saucychilli, the important thing is that you get back on track asap. I have just been reviewing my progress and found that, what I thought I was going to achieve in a number of months, is in actual fact, going to take a couple of years, at least.
It's a very long journey for some of us and I'm a believer that if one is on a very long journey, one must pace ones self. One should also allow ones self to have an occasional break. It's best to have those breaks planned in, such as during vacation, family parties and Christmas.
It's always a disappointment when an unscheduled stop has to be taken, but these things happen, and it's usually easy enough to catch up the time lost.
So now is the time to look forward and rebuild your resolve.
It's just a case of having faith and belief in yourself. You can do it
Don't beat yourself up. Just get back on track. I did a similar thing in Friday night. Fish and chips and too much booze. Felt like death the next day and probably back to square 1 but today I take back control and stick to the plan. Good luck.
As the others have said - don't panic about the bad couple of days. If you get right back onto track again, that won't matter. The important thing is not to let yourself go on in this way - have a really good couple of days healthy eating and you will feel much better
