I have lost 1 3/4 lb this week, am ok with it am getting used to these little losses, but get jealous of those that can lose up to 8lb a week! Ah well, be grateful!

Hey Tink, don't feel envious, normally the people that lose 8lbs are at the beginning of their journey, have a lot to lose and are male
Your 1.75lb loss is great and better than my 1.25lb loss We're doing everything we should be doing - slow and steady wins the race
I know how you feel, my loss seems to be 1 - 2 lbs a week & I so want it to be more. My trick is to grab a bag of sugar or block of butter & it helps me visualise just how much it really is.
1 3/4lb is a great loss! Even those of us with a lot to lose will only lose about 1 - 2 lb on average a week after the first 1 - 2 weeks of bigger losses.

You don't want to lose 8 lb a week. You are the smart one. You want to be healthy and you want to make sure you will stick to it. Well done on your 1 3/4 lb. it is very very good. I used to lose just a tad less a week and happy about it because a year down the track, I am still at my favourite weight, I feel great, I am not unwell anymore, I am full of energy, looking good and on top of the world. Believe me, slowly will get you there.
small loss means it will stay off longer! and at the end of the day a loss is a loss regardless of the amount
I get some big numbers sometimes I know what u mean but when u first start a new diet u will lose more or if u change eating habits can influence that to
