I have lost 4st over the last 2 years, 3 1/2 at the beginning of last year and another 1/2 recently.
I am happy with my weight now, I just need to tone up my stomach and legs now and try to get rid of some excess skin, hopefully the toning will eliminate some of this.
I am very active on my feet for 10-12 hours a day, do aqua aerobics and Zumba the last two are both good for my cardi exercise but I need to do some toning which I know is not going to be my thing as I think this probably means going to the gym 😕
Am I best getting a personal trainer who will show me exactly what I need to do to get the results I am looking for, sounds expensive and I don't have loads to spend tho.
I can't do running as I have a slightly dodgy knee.
Any suggestions?

Hi Angela. As a personal Wellness Coach I know if someone want Toned up! Then very Impotent that know your daily Protein intake for maintaining, toning & Gaining muscle Mass. If you want to know ur daily Protein intake just as ask me.
I'm sorry I can't help much on the exercise front but have you thought about resistance exercises using bands? You can get several DVDs. This is supposed to be great for toning up. You could also try yoga.
I have started doing a lot of walking and it is certainly toning up my legs.
There are many web based resistance exercise examples that focus on legs and stomach. It would be easier if you could find someone to do this with. You could also go into any gym and ask either the staff or knowledgeable members, who generally like our friends on this site are only too happy to show you how. You could of course go to a personal fitness coach, and this would be beneficial if you find the correct trainer but as you say this would come at a significant expense. Good luck with whatever you decide.
