HELLO FELLOW EARTHLINGS !! π
I eat Gluten-Free and count my carbs.. I have to be very careful due to certain health issues.
Nope love a bacon butty π
Good luck!
Not me....but have really enjoyed widening my food experiences because of calorie counting and cooking for self...perhaps you could post a couple of recipes?
I'm veggie, dairy free, wheat free, but still have fish (and eggs). I find vegan recipes and websites really useful for making sure I still have a balanced diet now that I have given up cheese, which used to be my main source of protein!
I went Vegan for ethical reasons firstly and secondly for health reasons
I won't challenge you either as we all have to do what we personally believe is best π what's great is we are trying to do the best for our health π
I wish you all the best π
Hi Concerned, I think we've discussed this before? The doctor advised me to give up cheese for health reasons. I'm hoping to reintroduce it subject to doc advice but in the meantime it's definitely a challenge managing without
I was eating a lot of cheese before, so if it was going to help me I think I'd have found out? I have tried giving up just wheat before, but it was only when I gave up both wheat and dairy that my symptoms calmed down. But seeing doc again early November so will revise diet according to their advice then.
I admire vegans! A friend of mine who became vegan gave me a lot of books and a DVD on why eating animal foods is so bad for our health. I was totally convinced. It worked wonders for him, but I just don't have the willpower to give up dairy. I could go without meat though if I didn't have to buy it for my partner.
