Happy 21st everyone, lol. I have a confession, I am sat in bed writing this post (11.45am). Lazy hey? Weeellll, I am just about to try and get some sleep before tonights shift as I stayed up all night. I have been giving my kitchen a bit of a facelift and was going to leave the painting until today, but at 9pm last night I got an energy surge and thought I would just do one coat of emulsion. Before I knew it, I had done all coats of emulsion and glossed ( well 'silked') the woodwork, and my daughter came into the kitchen in search of breakfast, it was nearly 10am ( she was being a lazy bug)!!! I am well and truly pooped. It is chucking down with rain so hopefully I should be able to sleep away the day undisturbed by outdoor noise.

I weighed before coming up to bed and have lost 5lb this week. How the heck did that happen? Amazed I might be, but the overwhelming feeling is YAY, WHOOHOO, ZIPPA DE DOOO. Think you get the drift, lol. Have a belting week everyone, am signing off for some zzzzzzzzz now. πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„πŸ˜€

Shift work...there were times when I loved it and times when it just ruined my social life...ahhh memories of happy days!

Well done with such a tremendous weight loss, very well done.

Hope you had a good sleep and have a quiet night shift whatever it is you're doing.

Holy mackerel Shellie! That's amazing! :)

I'm sure the reason for it, is all the hours you've put into your kitchen's "little facelift"! :)

I'm so pleased for you, well done :)

Thanks chick, kitchen looks great- just a couple of touch ups to do but will do them on Wednesday ( only got 1/2 day off this week - 61/2 days, gonna be dead by next Monday morning, lol). I was gobsmacked at the 5lb off, but as I hardly ate at the weekend I suppose it's down to that. 😊

Don't knock with all the hard work you have done recently it is well deserved :)

Congratulations Shellie - that's fantastic !! & the painting surge was pretty good as well :-)

Just some touch ups to do. Got the bug now and will be doing the cloakroom next, very tiny so should be quick. Got a bargain with the paper in the January sales for cloakroom and back sitting room from Laura Ashley - an unbelievable £39 a roll discount, yep I paid £1 per roll!!!! The sitting room only needs the chimney breast repapering and the rest painting, so only needed 4 rolls ( bought the 5 in case) and the 'tinkle' room only needs 2 rolls ( bought the 3 left). I will have the poshest loo in Lincolnshire, lol. 😊

Wow Shellie, you're just on fire at the moment. I think we can now conclude that kitchen facelifts are an excellent calorie burner. Every brush stroke or bending down to put more paint on the roller was another calorie-burning move - you absolute star! Hope you feel refreshed after your sleep, and mega congrats on the 5lb loss :)

5 hours straight sleep ready for last nights shift. Didn't eat much over the weekend so that must account for some of the loss to be fair. I do ache in places I didn't know could ache, so well worked out this saggy bag of bones too, lol. 😊

My daughter is one of those that would hibernate if she could 'chrysalised' in a duvet. No middle ground, she is either catching her tail running from one thing to another or rolled up in said duvet, lol. Am super pleased with my weightloss and kitchen, glad I put my backside into gear to finally get on with it. Just a couple if touch ups to do. Downstairs 'tinkle' room next..... 😊
