I have just down loaded the plan and am ready to give it a go! Since living out in Singapore for a while I have stacked on lots of weight and find that it just keeps creeping up! Need to do something about it now before it becomes a health issue. I hope to weigh in on Monday next and to have made a small inroad into my twelve and a half stone body! ( cannot believe that I have admitted that in public! )

Hey Cherry blossom, welcome to the forum! Great place to be inspired...wish it had been around when I was twelve and a half stone..I'm 14 1/2 now...but down from 15 so it does work...post and keep posing..it keeps you in a positive frame of mind...and good luck😉
Hi and welcome. I am sure you will find lots of Inspirationon this site!
I am feeling good today as instead of wearing my trusty black leggings I have got back into my black jeans and can actually fasten the zip without them cutting me in two!
Good luck with your dier this week, I am a Monday weigh in too so look forward to seeing how you have gone on next week xx
Hi cherry-blossom, I started at 12st4, lost 3lbs doing couch to 5k, then began the NHS 12 week plan at 12st1, and have now lost a total of 24lbs, just a couple of lbs from a healthy BMI. I'm telling you this so you know you can do it too! By around 11st6 I was back into size 14 jeans, and I'm now back into all my old clothes, and very close to getting a pair of size 12 jeans too (my ultimate goal). I remember what it was like to just have a few things in my wardrobe I could wear anymore, and how miserable it felt thinking I couldn't do anything about it. But you start to feel in control again as soon as you've lost the first few lbs. Good luck getting started
That's brilliant you are really doing well. I so hope that I can follow your example and really get the weight off this time. I had reached the point where I was going to have to consider buying a size 18 and this freaked me out into taking some weight loss seriously. It's so awful in the changing room too...
Changing rooms are the worst. I was starting to buy size 16s, which was okay in flattering dresses and skirts, but I couldn't get used to wearing size 16 jeans, only wore them round the house, and then even they started to get too tight! You need to hit a certain point perhaps to make the change, but while you're motivated grab it and do something about it! You can go back to buying things you like rather than things that fit and don't look too bad. 1 pound at a time, patiently and sustainably Good luck!
