It really depends on your level of fitness. The gym instructors' at the gym should help you by testing your level of fitness and then tailor/design a fitness plan based on this information 😊

@Chestnut is spot on.

Go to your local gym and have an assessment with one of the trainers. They WILL try and sell you on a course but just go with the idea in mind that you are shopping around and commit to nothing on the spot.

Good morning hello as chestnut says you should get a trainer to advise you, it depends on your program and also on what classes they have and if do any other exercise - walking or running or cycling. Why not go to a council gym and get a free pass for the day plus a fitness assessment.

For example i now swim alone once/twice a week, a swimming class once a week and I use the Weghts and do stretching two or three times a week. I also cycle to work. When I began I was only doing weights and stretching. I do travel for work but there is always a gym somewhere that lets in day members.

Eventually you should aim for five hourly sessions of cardio and two of strength training each muscle group each week.

But that's a long term goal, start with what you can manage. Every little helps!
