get support of nearest and dearest. check out the nhs site. decide if you are counting calories or not. read all postings for examples of the support you will receive. decide on which 'dead' calorie food items you will be omitting from your diet. give yourself a start date. change one thing at a time. begin excercising: gently at first. don't expect too much too soon. expect setbacks. be proud of all successes. and just do it.
The answer is quite simple.
Eat less calories then you burn. Thats the simple principle of how you lose weight.
There is no magic cure, no magic pill, no ultimate fad diet.
You have to be willing to change your way of eating, start counting calories and really focusing on your portion sizes and commit to getting some exercise every day.
The NHS 12 week plan tells you everything you need to know - I also use the Myfitnesspal app which is GREAT at counting calories.
