Hi,

I am 70 + 3 days. I have lost 1st 2 lbs in 2 years (I know, but it has been on - off, on - off). I had a real blast at my birthday 'do' and am going away on holiday next week for a week. I have been reading Rachel Wilson's, 'I said No to Sugar' and intend to follow her 8 week plan to come off sugar when I get back. Has anyone else done this?

Hi Flam,

Happy Birthday for 3 days ago, and glad to hear you had a great time celebrating your 70th Birthday.

I hope you have a great holiday next week too - and relax and enjoy it.

I haven't read the book you refer to, but I do know that it's definitely good to try to keep blood sugars stable and I do try to keep my sugar intake as low as I can.

Good luck with your goals.

Lowcal :-)
