I am always grateful for the support this forum gives - people are not judgemental only positive and prepared to share tips and stories. Well done on the 5lbs.

I have tried to lose weight on and off for many many years, trying on my own as well as various slimming clubs , always struggled after a few weeks. Now I am following the NHS weight loss program & reading posts daily on this forum it has made such a difference- I finally feel in control of my eating.

Congrats!! Could you please share your secret for 5lbs loss in one week? I'm struggling a bit, but can sometimes manage 2lbs. Would be v. grateful.

Thank you. To be honest I am usually a 1lb a week person with the occasional 2lb. I follow the NHS weight loss programme and complete the myfitnesspal daily keeping an eye on my calories, I still weigh most things. What I like about the fitness pal is It has a pi chart which shows you the percentage of carbohydrate, fat & protein I eat. Through this I am more carefull about the amount of carbohydrate's I eat. Also since watching a programme a while ago about the truth about sugar I keep an eye on hidden sugar in food. i hope this helps.

Very well done. Just shows what can be done. Keep up the good work. 😊
