I did it! I managed to survive a 12hr night shift without induldging in all sorts of bad foods! Night 2 tonight so fingers crossed it will be good too. Had some oats for "morning tea" at 9:30pm and some yogurt and fruit during the rest of the shift.

Survived 12hr nightshift
Well done. What was the reason for the success? Any tips you can share gratefully received!
Well done. I hope it was a busy night shift, I always snack more if I'm bored. Which is why I've built up a list of things to do if I crave a snack!Hope tonight goes well.
Not too busy tonight but have lots of other things to do.
I had some milo - this helped with my sweet craving- when I got home and then had a shower and went straight to bed. I tried not to think about food too much.
will see how tomorrow morning goes. There are some chocolates staring at me - thinkI will put them in the cupboard so that I dont look at them all the time.
Planning on taking the kids to the bike park tomorrow afternoon after school. I cab walk around the field and not think about what next to eat.
Well done that's fab! I always struggle on nights and the days after!
Well done!!!
I too work nightshifts and I find a handful of almonds when feeling peckish seem to keep my hunger pangs at bay.
Xx
Thats a great idea!will try that thanks
I am feeling proud was really tired last night...so instead of eating (as I usually do when tired) I decided to go to sleep. No calories wasted! and feeling good this morning.
Planned on getting up early to do some exercise but was much nicer snuggling with hubby. The kids and I will go to the park again today. Has lots of fun (and exercise!) chasing them around yesterday
