9 weeks to lose a stone!

I'm going on my holidays to Florida in 9 weeks and I want to lose a stone. I now weigh 11st 11lb and I want to be 10st 11lb by the time I get on that plane. I've tried this before but my efforts were half hearted. I am easily distracted and am fooling myself by telling myself 'one more won't matter' or 'so what - you only live once'. It ends here - I know I will be raging with myself in July if I don't succeed. So here we go!

You sound really determined Bubbles. I'm sure you can do it this time as you have that wonderful holiday to look forward to. Start planning on what you are going to wear so you'll have a slim "you" in mind. No telling yourself it doesn't matter cos it sure does. Believe you can do it!

Thanks everyone! Its day 3 and things are going well. I'm not tracking what I eat but I'm planning my meals, watching my portion sized and resisting the temptation for cakes and chocolate! I'm exercising daily (either a walk or spinning) which I usually do so that's not the problem. I actually feel less sluggish already. Onwards and Upwards
