A weekly weigh in is a bit of pressure for you so you'll keep focused. I think it would be worse for you if you left it for 3 weeks and then gained. Your head would probably explode then! :(

As you get close to your natural weight the loss will be slow. (note, "natural" weight may not be the same as the ideal weight you have in your head) . Weight targets are rarely helpful towards the end, but body measurements or a tight outfit, are a better indication. Personally I only weigh fortnightly.

Hi, I think it depends how much you have to lose, over how long a period you are aiming to lose it and whether you are strictly dieting or changing your lifestyle. I have a friend who has lost 5 stone over 2 years by changing her lifestyle. She has strictly only weighed once a month and found this worked best for her. I tend to weigh myself every few days but actually record it once a week. Weight can fluctuate from day to day and not always in the direction we hope. I think to see serious progress reviewing your weight once a month is probably a sensible way to see real results. Good luck!

Well June, I just did my weigh -in a bit earlier than usual ( after 9days) because Id been away to friends in france during that time and I felt I should see what the damage is. Gained 2 pounds! So....the question is, if Id waited another few days before weighing, maybe my weight might have settled down and I would not have seen a gain !!

Who knows? But its something to consider...
