So I have been trying to get fitter for about 6 weeks now and in those 6 weeks I have been unwell for 3 weeks. 2 nasty colds and now a sickness bug. I am so disappointed as every time I try to get fit I either have a flare up of back pain (I suffer with chronic back pain) or get struck down by a cold. Always well when not taking any exercise and eating crap. I am finding it so frustrating. I have set myself fitness goals that I simply can't now achieve. Although my main goal to walk around a 4 mile beauty spot is still on course for May. I wonder if other people have the same problems as me, it is so demoralising. I have a lot of weight to lose and working on a lifestyle change rather than a diet. The ailments haven't effected my new changing attitude to food but seriously affecting my exercise plans.

I have been loosing since since last September, but I lost my focus, I found this and I am not starting again. I had one cold after another, I aimed to walk 10,000 a day did that for a month, but Feb and March not so much, hard to keep going, but I always try to rethink. Focus on what you can do not what you can't. Good luck
