Youve done amazingly well! You cannot beat yourself up over 100cals. We all have bad days and slip ups, learn from this and move on tomorrow is a new day and if it will make you feel better eat 100 less tomorrow to balance it out or as steve says 25 less over 4 days. Ive gone over mine before and as long as you keep up the healthy eating and exercise it wont make a big difference. Think about the positive things of how well you have done. Stay strong

Not that bad I did the awful thing and shopped for tea while starving. I had only had a bowl of cereal all day. So I Ate pizza and chocolate. writing today off as a bad day and moving on. Beating ourselves up won't do any good.

One day at a time, tomorrow's another day. I've done the same but trying again tomorrow

Bumble says, 100 calories , that's just one small banana, put that behind you and tomorrow is another day. Keep up the good work.

And me. Yesterday was Mrs FatbellyGutbucket's birthday. We went out for a meal. For once I didn't have the pork belly (one of my favourites when we eat out) but I couldn't resist the M&S Mini Macaroons she'd bought as a treat when we got home.

"They're only 56cals each" and "another one won't hurt" don't make a good combination. Add to that that I had no time for exercise and the result was inevitable. +1kg, this morning, compared to yesterday morning.

Oh well - it's what's happened at the next weigh-in that really matters. At least I'm still less than I weighed on Monday.

I'm glad you wrote that. 'They're only xxxx cals each' and 'another one won't hurt' are common phrases that you hear all around and all the time. They are soooo wrong, you wouldn't believe.

Oh, I'd believe. In my case the only place I usually hear it is from the voices in my head.

I think it's usually the one sat on my left shoulder - the one with the horns He has a tail and he's very red.

Be kind to yourself. Some days will be better than others, as we all know. Nothing is better than enjoying exercise and balanced healthy food, so hope you are encouraged by your good days. You really don't need to go hungry or 'get back' any over calorie days. Today is always day 1, so hope you enjoy it ! Best wished

early days - don't be too judgemental as its better to be as positive as possible. A few bad days doesn't spoil it. Keep going

Naw! Don't worry about it. Start again tomorrow. Those days will happen but, guess what, it's not the end of the world and life happens.

Hi Holly, you are not alone! Diets and diet plans and programs are not easy for the majority of people... agreed? So what's the solution? LIfestyle change, habits and priorities have to change for us who hate dieting. I mean, here's the general trend for those of us wrestling with excess weight: "As you age, your metabolism changes and actually begins to slow down while your average intake of calories remains the same or in some cases, increases. This leads to weight gain over the course of many years which in turn leads to serious health issues."

I mean go figure, there are millions outside of the US who effortlessly remain slim and trim. How's that? Lifestyle!

On the other hand, some diet plans work better then others. Hence, it doesn't hurt to keep looking for one that will suit you.
