Hi, I started the NHS 12 week plan last summer and lost quite a bit of weight. Not the on the scales Kg's lost type particularly but the type of weight loss where friends and colleagues not only notice you looking fitter but ask how it was done.
However I'm almost back to where I was last year (before the diet!) and really relishing starting anew.
This time though, instead of eating healthy foods I don't really like the taste of and telling myself that it's all good for me in the long run, I've bought a juice machine.
I'm now into my 4th day and have been replacing my lunch with a fresh juice. I can combine raw Broccoli, Fennel, Celery, Carrots and Spinach with an Apple or some Pineapple or other sweet fruit to make a delicious drink packed with my 5 a day (at least).
Has anyone had any experience of juicing or indeed any good recipes to pass on - as well as some no no's?
For the record, at the moment, I feel better in myself and I've noticed my energy levels have started to improve. I no longer fall asleep on the couch in the evenings which is a good thing with the World Cup being on and all!
Any recommendations most welcome.
