I've been healthy eating for about 10 weeks now and have lost a stone in weight. However I've seemed to have hit a brick wall as I've not lost anything for two weeks now. I go to the gym twice a week and cycle 10 miles once a week, is this just muscle building or something else? Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks

Was losing weight but seemed to have hit a brick wall?
I had the same problem. I've had to 'take it easy' for a couple of weeks, due to other possible health problems, and have actually lost a couple of pounds. My conclusion is that you need to mix things up a bit. Maybe vary your diet or try a different exercise and/or different time of day to exercise. Sometimes I think our bodies just need a bit of a nudge to get going again. Good luck.
We all plateau from time to time, good advice from legion about trying to changer things a little ease up on carbs a little and increase veg and lean protein to repair those muscles, good luck!
Make sure you don't eat your exercise calories. I lost three stone in six months but had a few weeks where I didn't lose any weight, then a few pounds would drop off. I presume you're logging everything on MyFitnessPal?
Hi everyone. Here's something for you to try. BEANS ON TOAST DIET no really it works and i know your probably thinking its too much carbs. Give it a try. Brown seeded bread or for a lower carb lower cal etc alternative danish bread. Baked beans, sweet corn and kidney beans. Have this at least twice a day. Liberye yogurts are a great snack theyre so nice and 0%fat. Also snack on fruit and veg. And have porridge's or bran flakes for breakfast. Also green tea helps to speed up your metabolism and burns fat.
Thanks everyone for your support and guidance. Will try your ideas.
Yup. Because we're human and not machines, nothing is simple. Try not to get disheartened, and keep on. I like the one about not eating your exercise calories. Keep up what you are doing and it may start again. I read somewhere tough I can quote it, that you build up muscle which in their turn burn more calories, so exercise is good, but it's not the be all and end all. The ultimate guide is like budgeting. What goes in must come out or you get a surplus. Money in the bank is great, bulk on your body is not.
hi you just need to up your game .go to the gym more cycle further good luck
