what could I eat meal wise that cuts out carbs?
Hi Cloe
I use these websites for recipes. You may want to cut down your carbs slowly as cutting them out quickly can give you withdrawal symptoms like headaches. The first thing to cut out is sugar.

It is suggested that you need some good fats if you go very low carb, I use butter and olive oil.
Good luck with managing the PCOS.
This site has loads of low carb recipes

But I tend to keep things simple. I'll often have the bolognase sauce the rest of my family is eating without the pasta, sometimes with extra veggies in, or I stirfry vegetables to eat with a pork chop or steak. I quite often eat steak with a little homemade ratatouille. The other week I did homemade fajitas and just skipped on the wraps. Most of the time you can just leave the carbs off whatever you are cooking for your partner.
Thanks guys it's so nice to have some good support I will check these out
Sugar. Then, anything containing sugar. That means: cakes, biscuits, ice-cream, chocolate (except the ones that are high in cocoa-solids). Any of the sweet snacks that are so commonplace. Reading labels in the supermarket, surprising how many ordinary items have added sugar - cornflakes and other breakfast cereals all contain sugar. Then, look at the amount of potatoes you eat, in whatever form. Jacket-baked potatoes are better for you than any of the other kinds. Once you peel and cook a potato it's nothing but starch, which quickly turns to sugar. Carbs turn to sugar, that's why you've been given the advice you have. It's a learning-curve and doesn't happen overnight. Good luck!
