hi my husband is type 2 diabetic and need to know really if he can have natural honey or not ty

I think you need to treat it like sugar and use it sparingly. It's a bit sweeter than sugar, so you wouldn't need as much. Can you check with the Diabetic nurse?
It has a high glycaemic index. However, you can team it up with things that have a low glycaemic index, e.g. oats in porridge and it should be ok as the sugar is absorbed more slowly into the blood stream. If you have a sugar testing kit, I would try it and then test an hour afterwards. The medication he takes should also counteract the sugar in honey. I hope that helps.
For meal planners, include a protein (meat, eggs, cheese) with a carbohydrate. Include more protein than you would normally and plenty of salad or veg. As a protein, try to
Make it unminced e.g. beef not beefburger or sausage.
And low fat. Sorry having problems with my key board.
You should treat honey just like sugar, whatever recommendations your husband has about sugar will also apply to honey.
dont let diabetes rule your life have what you like within reason
they say you should eat 7 types of veg and fruit a day what they dont tell you certain fruits are quite high in sugar ie oranges ,kiwi fruit, grapes, melon
