So fed up of failing

Last week went from fairly good to very bad..............by Wednesday I completely given up on eating well and just went for full on stuffing my face, so the cycle will start again tomorrow start off well and prepare to fail by the end of the week if I make it that far!!!

Right now I am sick to death of my issues surrounding food and really have no idea how to get out of this cycle

Angel you need to get your head in the right place - you know what you need to do, I have read your comments on others posts, so what's stopping you? DO NOT PREPARE TO FAIL, or you will. prepare to succeed, don't starve yourself set a realistic eating regime with free foods say carrots salad and treats it needs to be a sustainable diet not a fad now go out there and do it ( ps you can re-read this on Wednesday if it helps) good luck and stay strong!xx

Hi Angel

I know how you feel, I tried all the diets out there and I even got so desperate I took water tablets and laxatives and nearly ended up in hospital so please anyone reading this Do not try it!

I use the blood group diet, it tells you what foods are toxic to your body and what foods are medicine for your body and what foods to eat as normal.

I found out blood group O people are wheat and dairy intolerant and I read through the foods I shouldn't have which wasn't many really and changed them for foods I can have and I have started to loose weight without really trying and I can't exercise due to mobility problems.

I made a circle of card the size of a teaplate, drew a line through the middle making 2equal size halves, then draw a line threw the middle of 1half to make it into 2 quarters.

This is the size portions you should have for a main meal. The big section is for veg, the two smaller portions are meat in 1 and Carbs in the other.

It doesn't look much but you'll be surprised how filling it is.

Don't drink for 40mins before or after a meal

Try to chew each mouthful at least 20 times

Make sure you eat all your meat or quorn

Try to make the meal last about 30mins

Any food left over after 30mins throw away

If you are having food that you would eat with a spoon, use a tea spoon.

All these tips were given to me by a dietician and it worked for me, so I hope some of it will help you. Please look at the blood group diet it may stop you craving foods that may not be good for your body.

I'm a big believer in angels and I have asked them to watch over you as you need love and strength right now.

I'm also giving you this poem that I give to people who are in need of some comfort and support.

When angels sense you need them

And angels always do

They come unseen from everywhere

To help and comfort you

They hover close beside you

Till all your cares are gone

Till they can see you're ready

Once again to carry on

Then some of them fly away

And take their gentle touch

To other hearts that need the love

Of angels very much

But one at least stays with you

As your constant friend and guide

For guardian angels never leave you

They are always by your side

Print the poem out and put it where you'll get most comfort from it.

Take care and angel blessings to you.

Hi,

Thanx I don't like to see people in pain or desperate for help and support.

If I can help lighten their load and show them they are not alone, it hopefully helps them get a bit of confidence to deal with the problem.

Take care and angel blessings to you and your family

Hi Angel

I only give the verse to people that really need the love and support, as they are the only people that understand it and benefit from it!

She hasn't gone away, you were in to much of a frustrated panic to notice anything, if you're anything like me, when I spit my dummy out, 2 scantily clad firemen could walk through my house & I'd still be slamming round my kitchen oblivious!

Until my daughter pretended to faint into their arms that is!!

Now you've seen other people are here to support you, and you have a few different ideas to try, you have calmed down and had chance to breath.

Here is the Web sites for the blood group diet if you want to see what foods aren't good for you etc.

Blood Type Diet - DrLam® - Body. Mind. Nutrition®.

Take care Angel big hugs and angel blessings xx

PS. If you want a buddy, I'm here for you. I'm house bound so the internet is my playground and I am always checking my emails.

I've tried to email you 3 times today but my BlackBerry tablet threw it's dummy out of it's pram!

Angel, I know it's hard but you are not on your own, we are all here for you and for each other. We may not know each other but we all have the same struggles with food but the underlying reasons are all different. It may be a good idea to have a look at why you have prioritised food above your happiness, only when you start to resolve this underlying issue, that you will place the symptom of your unhappiness (food) to the bottom of the pile and start believing in yourself again and that you are worth it and that your life is for living in happiness and not for unhappiness. We only get one life Angel, it would be sad if any of us spent years worrying about what we ate and looked like instead of getting out there and living our lives to the full. Good luck and remember 'You're worth it!' xx

I read in a health may, don't worry about your weight,go for a healthy life style and weight will take care of itself.this maybe right to a degree ,but it needs a little efford from you,to find a healthy life style just make little changes,I found it easier to make little changes than expecting a speedy result,I have lost 3stone in 6months,I would b happy to loose another. 2 this year.the first change was from white to brown bread, now the smaller loaf ,cut the sugar out of tea,now I have got to tea with no milk, and the same when I go out,its become the normover a period of time, there's no rush, take it steady and persivere, look forward, have a good go ,
