hi, you've made a fantastic first step to sign up here, there are lots of us around just like you. we struggle every day to do the best that we can without beating ourselves up about any little slip up. it's a change of mindset, if you want it bad enough, it'll happen. we all do and that's why we're here. welcome x

thank you , ive done a print of the 1 week plan from the 12 week plan. im at my biggest and its nice to know im not the only person who feels like this. I beat myself up a lot and it doesn't help when i visit my parents that my brother calls me nasty names. I then become weak and want to turn to something sweet or anything naughty x

Hi tart,

Weight loss really isn't something to beat yourself up about. It's much better to just do it.

It is very do-able. For sure it takes a bit of commitment and some perseverance too, but as you challenge the old 'bad' eating habits that got you overweight in the first place and get into so new ones, it gets easier, because the new ones become increasingly automatic to you.

Also, as you ride the weight loss bus, your tastes will probably change and your desire to eat the things that you used to eat will diminish.

So, just set yourself an appropriate target weight, set yourself some mini-targets (or "milestones") to tick off as you go and focus on what it will feel like to be in that lighter, slimmer body that is already there inside of you waiting for a chance to come out.

Good luck with your weight loss journey.

Hi michalax

Welcome to the site. Yeah i understand the feeling. I went ill and put the weight on ive put back on 3 stone. I got to the stage of being fed up and sitting watching dvd's all day. This way with the site i feel i could do right instead of wrong also a good way of making friends as i find it hard to talk and met people.we always make excuses but what done it for me was my brother and now ex boyfriend putting me down all the time. The name calling and just picking on me. I have faith we both could lose the weight for all the right reasons . You can do it for the wedding next year just have to be positive i know its hard. We can get there in the end .As my mum say's GO GIRL , YOU CAN DO IT, GIRL POWER xx
