Im not like most people my age. Im 18 and barely drink, dont smoke and weigh 13 stone. But how did I gain all this weight?
Due to some family health issues, I moved in with my boyfriend of two years in late august, early september 2012, this was quite a big move for me, as he lived in sussex and im from hertfordshire. I left all my friends and family behind and moved away and i love it here, the only problem is with no friends here its hard to find a reason to go out. I dont have a job so i sign on to the job centre every two weeks, and that seems to be the only time i really get to go out. Living in a small village is nice and peaceful but getting to the nearest town costs so much, and gyms and weight loss clubs are quite pricey too, so its hard to find wasy to shift my weight, untill i came across the NHS loosing weight plan. Its free and means i dont have to spend out loads of money on group meetings or point baised meals.
My usual eating habits are terrible... When i lived in hertfordshire, i lived with my mother and two younger sisters and we pretty much ran free, we took from the fridge when ever we liked and didnt think about the future. But when the future found me and my metabolism caught up i began to pile on the pounds and my once small tummy grew bigger.
Moving in with my boyfriend completely changed my eating habits, but they went from one extreme to the other. I sleep in untill 10-11AM most days and that means i completely skip breakfast, lunch doesnt happen either because ive already been to the shop and bought myself some cake, crisps and some chocolate. which ill eat untill dinner. Dinner is the only good meal i eat. Most days its a homecooked meal... hand made burgers and chips or a nice toad in the hole, but one meal a day isnt enough and i snack to fill the day, the boredom or just because its there.
Today, it stops.
Ive tried various diets before and even joined a gym for a few months, but this time im serious. Ive been having a lot of health issues, and its causing me too much pain to carry on the way i am, so here we go...
My journey starts here...
