...Just to keep in touch and say that this really works!
I am STILL losing weight, down to 10 stone 2 lbs yesterday after a glitch last week when I put on 2lbs in spite of staying within my calories and doing the usual amount of exercise. I am still using MFP and doing exercise 5 or 6 days a week, I have discovered that gardening burns up a lot of calories so if I've been digging or anything vigorous I include that on my exercise done (certainly it's a total body workout and gets the old heart rate up). If I feel like a little treat (like cheesecake, yesterday) I include it in my food diary but if I go a bit over it's not the end of the world. Yet, here I am, feeling great and down to my target weight! I can only assume my metabolism has reset itself over the last year after a lifetime of stuffing/starving.
Not showing off here but wanted to encourage anyone just starting out on this that it can be done. And I can really commend C25k and Strength & Flexibility to you as well. Good luck!
