week 2 weigh day tomorrow
Hi missworld,
Usually people say they feel less bloated once they settle in to a better eating regime.
It's not very likely to be the veg. Are you drinking fizzy drinks, perhaps? Or eating too quickly?
Remember, eating slowly is a good and simple little trick. Quite simply, it gives your body a chance to register that you're no longer hungry and/or that you're full.
There's tricks to that as well, like breaking up the meal and spreading it over a bit of a longer period. There is actually no law that states that you MUST have three courses one after another!
Other than that, I would have thought the most obvious one would be portion control. If you're eating most of your food at one particular meal, then I would recommend spreading it out a bit. I'm inclined to do the meal - snack - meal - snack - meal - snack thing.
The advantage of that is that it keeps the blood sugar levels more even and, theoretically, helps to keep the body in fat burning mode rather than fat storage.
Oh and don't get in to fussing about a few calories. Weight loss isn't a magnificently precise science. It's full of approximations.
Good luck with your weight loss journey.
wow I don t snack at all 3 meals no snacks so I ll try to break that down this week, I lost 5 lbs this week so am really happy with that I know week 3 will be harder so the soup pot is on and off to climb the stairs thanks for your tips. Have a good week
if you're on or due a period you retain between 3-5pds of water weight! sad times i know!
I was the same have started taking probiotic drink every morning 5 days in and the bloating has gone had to stop having bran in the morning now having probiotic yogurt and fruit feel so much better :0)
