Hi fellow sufferers, I was hoping to get some information about tests for pcos. I am enquiring for my daughter. She, luckily had no problems with pregnancy and has two children.
We are trying to get our head around the condition and would like to start with some basic blood tests on her hormone levels. would there be a place to get these done.
any leads welcome.

hello! In order to diagnose PCOS they use 3 methods and then if you show up with positive results for 2 out of 3, that generally means PCOS. So it’s firstly blood tests, also an ultrasound of the womb and also symptoms. In terms of types, it’s worth having a test for insulin resistance as that can be an issue for people with PCOS but not for everyone. You can just go to your doctor for all this if the PCOS is causing a problem and if it isn’t causing any trouble then there is no need!
