what does PCOS mean for my future?

I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS and i’m struggling to fully understand what this means for me and my future.

I totally understand how you feel. I was diagnosed last June and I still feel like I am trying to understand what is happening. It sometimes feels like swings and roundabouts… just when you think you know everything that is going on with your body, something new happens. I’ve tried a few different ways to try and help me come to terms with it so please feel free to give me a message and hopefully what I have learnt can help you too☺️

The problem with PCOS is that it has such a broad scope, it can mean lots of different things to lots of different people. There can be a huge difference in the severity and I know when I have spoken to others re. what meds they are on, they can be very different in no., type and qty. to me. The great thing about groups like this is that you will always find someone who can answer a question that you have about something that you are doing or taking or feeling and every single one of us knows how it feels when you are having a bad day, whether it’s bc of frustration, devastation, fear or anything else, and they truly understand the elation when something goes right. Finding this network changed my journey big time. Are you trying to get pregnant? Same as Haggis21 said, msg me anytime x

I totally praise this!! Joining a network like this has been amazing. Being able to read different peoples stories and experiences has totally changed the way I look at everything. Knowing that you are not on your own is sometimes the best feeling to start with x
