Hi all I'm 46, I've had PCOS for over 28 yrs...I've also been diagnosed with Fowlers Syndrome which urologist thinks is highly related to PCOS...is there any other ladies here that have both these? 🙂

Thanks for your reply...so do you self catheterize, are able to empty yr bladder inpart or have the surgical intervention?

I was catheterised then self catheterisation. I now have a sacral nerve stimulator which I have had for 5 years. Although currently waiting operation date to get wires and battery replaced. Do you self catheterise?

Yes until recently, I have other health problems so finding the S.C tricky...I'm worried about the medical intervention & infection rate...how have you found it?

I struggle too with S.C with pain on insertion and removal. I was on long term low dose antibiotics which does help keep things at bay.

I'm so nervous about having to go back to the doctor because I know what's going to happen next & I'm scared if I'm honest.

I would ask to be referred to urologist for help. They are good and can do tests to check how the bladder is working and best course of action

No worries at all. If you need anything feel free to contact. I would start by asking to see a urologist.
