Need some advice I had all my blood test results back and only one as come back that they need to discuss it with me but does it mean I have something wrong with my hormones it was for pcos

It might be that your hormone levels are low or your producing more male hormones ( testosterone), when I had my bloods back mine came back as I was producing more male hormones, which is why I have got facial hair.Have you got any symptoms of pcos like facial hair weight gain irregular periods x

Yer I got all 3, I was told if I lose weight then it would reduce the male hormones but when I google it I cant find nothing on that, mine is the weight gain and facial hair just cant get rid of it.Can your gp not give you nothing to help make your periods regular x

When I've had blood tests the only hormone level that comes back above normal range is LH hormone. I have pcos. They will discuss what they've found with you. It's a lot to take in but you should get some answers. I'm finally on metformin which I have had to push for as I'm not overweight they didn't give it me straight away but it seems to be helping. Waiting on a dermatologist referral now for my acne which has also taken years. Keep at the doctors you will get somewhere in the end!
